A report from multi-gpu OpenFOAM simulations

The report can be seen here
http://vratis.com/blog/?page_id=2

We tested :
  1. Cavity3D up to 32M cells, icoFoam, PCG on both CPU and GPU.
  2. AhmedBody, 2.2M cells, simpleFoam
  3. Cabin, 1.5M cells, simpleFoam
Any questions, comments, suggestions are highly welcome.

Hi, Lukasz,

Could you please post more details on how to perform GPU acceleration in OpenFoam? I want to try GPU acceleration too!

Thanks,
Ping

InterFoam, InterDyMFoam GPU

Dear all,

I would like to ask if this works also with multiphase solvers like interFoam and interDyMFoam?

Thank you very much in advance

Motorbike 6M on GPU

We are happy to announce that now it is possible to solve selected industry-relevant OpenFOAM cases on GPU ca. x3 faster vs. Intel Xeon E5649 running 12 cores.

This is about two times faster than competing solutions that offer only partial acceleration on GPU.

See the link for more details.
