Temperature-dependent material properties in chtMultiRegionFoam-Solver
I want to model the heat transfer in a pump with the chtMultiRegionFoam-Solver. As the temperature range is pretty wide, I want to use temperature-dependent material properties.
I already studied the chapter about thermophysical models in the user-guide, but that did not really help me, because everything is described quite short.
Could someone please help me by giving a short description of the usage and the differences between the following four temperature-dependent property models?
-Basic thermophysical properties -> hPolynomialThermo
-Basic thermophysical properties -> janafThermo
-Transport properties-> polynomialTransport
-Transport properties-> sutherlandTransport
Another thing I would like to know is: In which way is it possible to use temperature-dependent properties for the solid regions (especially with the chtMultiRegionFoam-Solver)? The thermophysicalProperies-dictionaries are only located in the constant directories of the fluid regions, so how can I model the behaviour of the solids?
