Multiphase Lagrangian Particles
Hello,
I am trying to simulate multiphase (solid/liquid) Lagrangian particles where one phase can evaporate. According to OpenFOAM's User Guide, porousExplicitSourceReactingParcelFoam can do that but I cannot figure out how to add a second phase to the particles and the tutorials available to me include only single phase Lagrangian particles. * Has anyone done such simulations with OpenFOAM? * Which solver do you recommend? * Could I get a set of sample input files? I appreciate your help a lot. Best, Moritz |
Thanks to a colleague I figured out that there is only a small number of species available that can comprise the phases. For solid phases only CaCO3, C and ash are available and I wanted to simulate SiO2.
