I have mapped fields of one geometry onto another geometry, which is only a little bit different. The Attachment shows my results.
There are some "holes" in the field. Have you got an explanation?

When I run a simulation with the mapping fields, it runs very unstable. A new simulation is much better and accordingly more stable.
So i cannot use mapFields ...

Can you help me? Is mapFields not good enough?

execute:

mapFields ../CASE -sourceTime latestTime

mapFieldsDict:

patchMap (Outlet Outlet
Inlet Inlet
cyclic1 cyclic1
cyclic2 cyclic2);

cuttingPatches (wall);

But i noticed, i get the same results with different mapFieldsDict.

Here a picture of my geometry and my cyclic boundaries.

The geometry is only different between these two cyclic boundaries.

Perhaps you try:

patchMap();
cuttingPatches();

in my case this was the best solution
