Hi everyone,

I have simulate a laval nozzle with rhoSimpleFoam in OpenFOAM.
But I do not konw if there are shcok wave in my nozzle or not? Does anyone know, if it possible to visualise the shock wave in post-precoessing?
In attachment is the pressure and velocity distribution of my nozzle from OpenFOAM.

Hi,

Presence of shock wave would depend upon your boundary conditions. If pressure ratio of outlet to inlet is very low then there is less chance of having a shock in the nozzle.
