k-epsilon: Defining turbulent intensity and length scale?

Hello,

I want to investigate a hydrofoil operating in a Re-range between 350.000 and 1.500.000 using simpleFoam. The chord length is about 100mm.

In order to setup the simulation, I need to define the turbulent intensity and turbulent length scale.

According to my desk research, the turbulent intensity is in the range of 1%-5% - Any hints on what value to choose?

What would be an appropriate turbulent length scale for the case?

Klaus
