How to model laminar zones?

Hi All,
I have a domain in which part of region is laminar zone otherwise the rest part is turbulent area. I can point that region as "laminar" but how do I switch between laminar region and turbulent region.
In first case where I model only flow region and kept turb viscosity to 0, it went fine and I could get good comparative results for the pressure drop
I had used simpleFoam +turb viscosity set to 0.
In second case where I am simulating conjugate heat solver (chtmultiRegionFoam), I am unable to do the above.

Is there a better way to do it...maybe like switching between models from Turbulent model for rest of the domain but in laminar zone simply use laminar model.

In Fluent we have laminar zone option.

Any updates....
Any thoughts on how this can be done ....
I am still stuck
