Dear Foamers,
I would appreciate your comments, hints, links or any other assistance on a little problem I am trying to tackle. Is it possible in OpenFOAM code to perform an interpolation of a scalar field during simulation runtime? The problem is the following. I have a mesh and a certain scalar field defined on it. I would like to make an arbitrary translation in a specified direction (y - direction in my case) and then interpolate the scalar values on the original mesh. Interpolation can be linear or nearest neighbour, but everything must be done inside the code since the resulting field is to be an input for the next step. Are there any functions, classes etc that can be useful in this task? Is there any piece of code I could look at to gain some insights? |
