Hi OpenFoamers,
Below I show the solution for a 1D problem. I have solved the problem on a uniform 48 cell grid. I then resampled the solution onto a uniform 12 cell grid using: mapFields /home/48cell/ -sourceTime 100 -case /home/resampled_12cell/ -consistent I am surprised that the resampled points do not lie on top of the 48 cell solution! Does anyone know why mapFields does this? How can I achieve better interpolation? Best regards, George |

Hi,
It is basically a plot of the 1D unsteady diffusion equation with a source term included. I am trying to perform a grid sensitivity analysis where a resample all my grid solutions to one common grid. Cheers, George |
