Default alpha becomes bigger than 1 in interFoam

Dear FOAMers
I have a problem with interFoam. I am simulating a 2-D channel with 1 inlet and 1 outlet. alpha is 1 at inlet. When I use fixed velocity at inlet every thing is OK but when I change the BC at inlet to fixed pressure the alpha becomes bigger and bigger. (bigger than 1)
What is the problem? Could any one help me?
