Git for openFoam 1.6-ext?
 

Hi Foamers

Does for the 1.6-ext version exist something similiar as for the .x versions which keeps your OF always up to date, in other words compares ur actual OF 1.6-ext version with the lastest bug fix and if necerssary downloads the new files and recompile it ?
Apparently a a lot of bug fixes have been made since the latest release of 1.6-ext or do I have to wait for the next release?

Hi,

use the command in the shell and it will download OF 1.6-ext. Also, the folder will be linked to the git repository and you can use the “git pull” (I guess) command to update OF.


However, I’m not sure if you can use your old OF 1.6 ext version for this update.
