Wedge To 3D mapping

Hi,

I have an axis symmetric problem and want to map results to a 3D geometry and use it as initial value.

Any suggestion?

The geometry is a cylinder with a conic section.

It has 9 blocks in 2D axis symmetric. How can i map a wedge 2D to a 360 degree 3D geometry?

Any idea?

Hello,

have a look at
timeVaryingMappedFixedValue

a tutorial is in

pitzDailyExptInlet

Hope that helps, Markus.

Edit: This applies for the boundary conditions.

Thanks Markus,

I want map all of domain fields value. the problem is: mapping is from wedge which is 2D to a 3D geometry. i have a rectangle for example and want rotate it in different angles to create a cylinder. in this condition all angles have a tangential radial and axial velocity same as initial 2D wedge.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.
