Import variable to controlDict -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Bodhi B New Member Bodhi Biswas Join Date: Jun 2016 Posts: 3 Rep Power: 9	Hello everyone, I have created a new boundary condition function. I also have a "DataSummary" function in ControlDict that logs data to a .dat file. I would like to know if there's a way to transfer a single-value variable from the BC function, into the ControlDict so that it can be logged to the .dat file. I am quite new to OpenFOAM and any help would be appreciated. -Bodhi
