About the water clock

Hello!
I'm a french student (20 years old) and I have to complete an experiment.
I choose the subject: The Water Clock (Clepsydre in french)
I'd like to simulate the fluid flow in a tank whose profile is y=x^4
This kind of profile would allow the flow to be constant:
I would like to check if it really is!

Is it possible with Openfoam ?
I have never used any kind of fluids mechanic software, is it simple or does it require a lot of skills ? (impossible for me?)

Thank you very much,

Mathieu Buisson

From my experience, you'll need at least some weeks and interest in computers to start "working" with openfoam, as it runs under linux and has no GUI. If you have fun in trying something out, you can learn a lot of thing from it!
