[Help] Boundary conditions for turbulent flow (kEpsilon)

Hello,

I want to model a turbulent air stream by using kepsilon model. I am pretty new to CFD and therefore stuck defining the right boundary conditions.

According to my virgin openFoam knowledge I do have to define the mesh-boundaries (patch, empty, wall etc) and the initial flow conditions (p,U,(k),(epsilon),(omega),....)

Now my problem: I want to model turbulent air flow in a dump-combustor using kEpsilon model. I do have information about density, viscosity, inlet-speed and turbulence intensity. Do I have to calculate k and epsilon manually in order to define a correct inlet value?

Thanks for reading (and wasting your valuable time :)) in advance.

Regards,

schaumy
