Folks,
I have started using OpenFOAM recently. I want to implement a spatially and temporally variable inlet boundary condition. Can anyone suggest how can we do that?

Hi

if it is simple you can try to use groovyBC.

If it is complicated you should check which already-developed BC is the closest to the one you want to create and modify it as it has been explained hundreds of times in this forum, just search for it!

BC's are located at:
/opt/openfoam171/src/finiteVolume/fields/fvPatchFields/derived

for your case (which also was mine 2 months ago) I'd recommend you to check "flowRateInletVelocity".
