From the source.
Quote:
Description
Solver for the magnetic field generated by permanent magnets.

A Poisson's equation for the magnetic scalar potential psi is solved
from which the magnetic field intensity H and magnetic flux density B
are obtained. The paramagnetic particle force field (H dot grad(H))
is optionally available.
On line 80 you see which equation is solved.

Hello,
is there anyone having a working example of this magneticFoam? Inside tutorials/electromagnetics/ I have electrostaticFoam and mhdFoam only!
Thank you for sharing,

maddalena

Greetings to all!

Another thread thread was created last 7th of December and a case is now available in that thread here: magneticFoam post #12.
Feel free to chip in with experience you may have so the case can evolve into something more meaningful than a mere sandbox case.

If that case would evolve into a page at openfoamwiki.net similarly to http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Ho...ure_to_icoFoam , that would be awesome

Best regards,
Bruno
