Hi
I ve a question concerning the solver for compressible flow. I would like to use it with the engineTopoChangerMesh class. Can I do it just straight forward as it is done with the incompressible solver (plenty of examples in 1.6-ext) or do I have to pay attention on something ?
Since I haven t much experiences with the compressible solvers, what is the main difference?
Best regards
Peter

I think the main difference between compressible and incompressible solvers is the former track the density, rho. I've also been trying to get a compressible solver working with a dynamic mesh... with incomplete success. That saga is recounted here.

Depending on what you need, the out-of-the-box sonicDyMFoam may be sufficient.

Part of my troubles seem to be due to the fact that 1.6-ext and 1.7 handle things differently, and that neither has all the features available in the other.
