Hi All,

I'm wondering if anyone has tried to simulate a flow inside a cyclonic separation using twoPhaseEulerFoam, example air + sand. I'm trying to simulate this problem base on ~/tutorial/multiphase/twoPhaseEulerFoam/bed solver, but the simulation become unstable after a few seconds.

When I tried with one phase only (air) using pisoFoam, the simulation is OK without any problems, and I can see the swirling flow inside the cyclone. I suspect that, with the particle, the centrifugal force make the particle to move very fast and then somehow ... make the simulation unstable (I might be wrong on this). Does anyone have any different idea why I cannot simulate this cyclone geometry?

I'm happy to send the mesh or other files from the three principle folders (~/0 ~/system ~/constant ) if anyone interested.

I heard that, cyclone mesh is quite unstable...I might cause the problem. Anyway, I am working on this twophaseeulerFoam now, and i'm willing to discuss with you guys.
