ParaView Problem

I'm new to openfoam, and after first installation when I opened paraview things were not displayed, however when I rotate the screen the mesh just flashes. after a re-installation it got corrected but now when I'm trying to make 2d plots it's again the same; I can't see the plot unless I pan it, even then it flashes.
Does anybody had the same problem? I'm using a Lenovo laptop with a Radeon VGA, can this be the cause of problem?

Greetings Mahdi,

I've talked about this a while back:

As far as I can remember, those kinds of issues usually require one or more of these solutions:
  • Better drivers for the graphics card. In the past, one version back or forward would do the trick.
  • Rebuilding ParaView, so it can hook-up to the correct OpenGL functions for your card.
  • I remember about a special environment variable that would override some functions in the ParaView<->OpenGL interaction... lets see if I can find it... Here you go: ParaFoam error could not find a decent visual - solution in post #4
You can find a few more references to this sort of issue on this blog post of mine: Related issues to ParaView with OpenFOAM - Fixes and solutions

Adding to the list, try disabling the advanced window management, i.e. the 2D/3D acceleration for windows floating around the desktop with transparencies and all that :)
