Turbulence modeling + sliding interface

Hi everyone
I am not sure if this is a problem that anyone else has faced but I thought that I would mention it here.

I have a solver which uses a sliding interface, and I recently included the compressible RAS turbulence model. The code crashed with a floating point exception after running for sometime.

After some debuggin, (I believe) the problem is with the fact that the faces that get uncovered when performing a sliding interface turn into a wall and so the values of k (turbulent KE) and epsilon should be calculated from the wall functions. However, this was not happening before the k and epsilon equations were solved. As a result there were zero values of k and epsilon at the wall.

The solution I used was to copy the KE model to my local directory, and add the lines
epsilon_.correctBoundaryConditions();
k_.correctBoundaryConditions();
before the solution of the epsilon equation. This seems to have fixed this issue.
