You can try the flamelet-solver!

dear tobi
thank you very much because of your reply . i want to simulate simple jet sandia with LES flamelet tool. but there is not any solver in openfoam and libopensmoke in aspect of LES and flamelet .
would you help me or send me if you have any code in these area.
thank you in advance

hi,

i never used LES for simulation but simulated sandia flames too with very good results!

Here are some good infos: http://web.student.chalmers.se/group...SlidesOFW5.pdf

I am writing my masterthesis on that theme/topic and get familiar with all the flamelet tool. at the moment i am trying to write a normal counterflow diffusion flame solver using the flamelet model.

To your problem.
If you are solving with LES - you have to look if you are getting the k and epsilon values or omega. if yes you should be able to use the flamelet model couse the conservative scalar depends on the turbulence modelling.

hi tobi
thanks alot for your quick reply. i had get the alberto cuoci solver(libopensmoke) but its approach is on RANS not LES. for example the flamelet eqation is solved with RANS approach. however Do you have any set up with RANS on sandia flame? i am appreciated if you send me it.
