Dear friends hi;

I searched about fully developed flow in inlet and found different methods but they are not clear enough. I want to ask all people to share their experience about this subject. what is the best way to do it?
It's good to implement your method in a simple example to be a helpful for all people who face this problem.

the following exapmle is a 2 meter pipe with 0.5 m radius.
How should I apply the velocity profile? ( the velocity is 3 m/s)

Best Regard

1) you can use a cyclic boundary condition for inlet and outlet look at channelFoam

2) you can imply a non uniform boundary condition at inlet for U for example U=U0*(1- (r/R)^2) with groovyBC

and more ...
