simple question about boundaryT
 
Hi guys,

I run a 2D orifice geometry using dsmcFoam!
The temperature inside the orifice geometry is 293 K and remains constant.
The types of the boundary conditions are: wedge,
wall, total pressure, pressureInletVelocity and "empty" for
frontAndBackPlanes.

In the "0" folder there is a boundaryT file, as i can see in the
dsmc tutorials.
I have to define the temperature for all the types of boundary conditions?
And for the value, i will define uniform and 293 K?

The temperature is needed for boundaries where particles are being injected with a Maxwellian distribution. Therefore, you would not need this for empty, symmetryPlane and wedge boundaries (note that wedge does not work with dsmcFoam).

The temperature value depends on the definition of your problem. I assume that the temperature of the gas in the containers upstream and downstream is 293K and therefore yes, you need to use "uniform 293".

For the wall of the orifice, i'll define uniform 293?
The only thing i know is that the temperature of the gas in the containers upstream and downstream is 293K.

Again, it depends on the definition of your problem.
There is no readily available boundary condition for adiabatic walls in dsmcFoam and you don't specify another temperature for the walls so I guess I would use isothermal walls at 293K. That is the usual case.
