Does openfoam support shared memories among procs?

Hi Foamers
I wonder if openfoam(or mpi) support shared memories among procs? Since I have a const table (could be as large as a few GB) from which each proc should retrieve data.

MPI has a shared memory transport layer (http://blogs.cisco.com/performance/s...mpi-transport/), but I don't think that's what you're looking for as data is still going to be copied around.
People at Sandia have been working on an extension for MPI to enable shared memory blocks (http://meetings.mpi-forum.org/secret...red-memory.pdf), but I'm not sure if there's anything stable yet.
