pressure equation in PISO or SIMPLE algorithm

I have a question about pressure equation in PISO or SIMPLE algorithm please guide me in this problem pressure equation is laplacian(rAU, p) == fvc::div(rAU*UEqn.H()) but in OpenFoam rAU*UEqn.H() is interpolated on cell faces why we do this work ? Best Regards

original equation should be "laplacian(rAU, p) == fvc::div(phi) " phi = fvc::interpolate(U) & mesh.Sf(); U = rAU*UEqn.H() You should look up Prof. Jasak's thesis, he talked about this in detail in his thesis.
