combustion process in a porous medium

hi all
Is it possible to model the combustion process in a porous medium?
How and with what openfoam solver that can be done?

Hi Vahid,

Do you consider that the combustion process happens inside the porous of your medium? Or can it happen outside the porous medium? In this last case, your porous medium would volatilize products that would migrate to a gaseous medium and then burn.
What model do you need to consider?

Paulo
