channel flow using interfoam in OpenFoam2.0

Default channel flow using interfoam in OpenFoam2.0

hello every foamer:
I come across a problem that when using interFoam to model the channel flow in the laminar condition. I set boundary for the "U p_rgh alpha1" same as LTSInterFoam, but my simulation failed as the water flows away quickly. I also have set the initial velocity for the water,but the water flows away for the long time simulation.
I have searched nearly all the forums about the channel flow, but still can not slove it. I hope formers could give me some advice.

my boundary set as below:

U:
inlet: fixed value(and I have used groovyBC as well)
outlet:zeroGradient

p_rgh:
inlet:bouyantPressure/zeroGradient
outlet:zeroGrandient

alpha1:
inlet:zeroGradient
outlet:zeroGradient

Well first of all there is a problem with your alpha1 BC. You have twice the zG BC (@ the inlet and @ the outlet) but you want some liquid to flow in, because you have specified a fixedValue velocity BC for the inlet.
Fix your BC's, try the sim again and check out the results

I have tried fixed value and groovyBC for the inlet boundary, but the result is the same as before.

I have also tried the fixed value and groovyBC for the outlet boundary, but it failed as well.

I do not know how does LTSInterfoam realize it, but it really did.

Do you have tried the channel flow before? could you show me the boundary condtion you set? Any advice is welcome!
