For my project, I want to solve some heat transfer cases.

• How to solve heat transfer case in OpenFoam.
• Which solver has to use for the heat transfer case.
• What IC and BC has to define for heat transfer case.
• where to define Cp, thermal conductivity, alpha, etc.
• Can I get some useCases for heat transfer problem.

do you realy know OpenFOAM. you look not familiar to this code

I think the easiest is you take a look at the user guide http://www.openfoam.org/docs/user/ and start with the first tutorial on lid driven cavity to get familiar with the code. When you install openfoam you will have noticed that you copied tutorials to you home directory. in this tutorial folder you find tutorials to most of the solvers based on use cases.

in the user guide under standard solver you will also find which kind of solver you want to use for different applications http://www.openfoam.org/docs/user/standard-solvers.php don't start out with the most complicated and work your way through some of the tutorials and additionally use the forum's search function for more information, many times problems that occur have been solved at least once in this forum.
