[OpenFOAM] Paraview segmentation fault core dumped -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

GLfast80 New Member Join Date: Mar 2021 Posts: 5 Rep Power: 5	Good evening everyone, I am having some problems with Paraview/ParaFoam since a while: when I press the commands "Pick Center" or "Select Cells On" the program crashes suddenly and returns the following error: "/home/cfd-user/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-8/bin/paraFoam: line 63: 4710 Segmentation fault (core dumped) LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:$ParaView_LIB_DIR/mesa paraview "$@"" Does anyone know where is the problem ? What can cause this segmentation core dumped fault? I already experienced it with different models. I run Paraview/ParaFoam in a Linux/OpenSUSE installation in a virtual machine (running in Win10). Thanks.
