Hi Everyone,
I have an issue which I can't seem to figure out with paraview, and the ability of it to visualise lambda2 criterion correctly. So after taking a snapshot of my velocity field to a vtk file, i convert it to the format tecplot requires, and so far I have managed to visualise lambda2 within tecplot 360, using a modified version of the macro kindly published on-line by John Axerio-Cilies, http://www.stanford.edu/~axerio/downloads/lambda2.mcr Ideally I would like to visualise it in paraview, since I have hundreds of consecutive data files to construct into an animation. I've noticed in the latest version of paraview 3.98.1, there is a ScriberQuest plugin that allows me to compute lambda-2 via the SQ vortex filter from my stored vtk file (included in link below), http://www.filedropper.com/tecdatavelfieldbase However, paraview produces an image that definitely isn't right when i try to plot iso-surfaces, is this a bug or have I missed out a crucial step ?? Thanks in advance for any help here!! |
