Hi. I am using Paraview 3.14.1. I would like to change the name of the layout: from "Layout #1" to "Pressure plot" for example. How can I do it?

Greetings archeo,
I've used ParaView many, many times... and I can't remember ever seeing "Layout #1" in ParaView!? Could you please detail how did you get this "Layout #1" and where exactly are you seeing it? Best regards, Bruno

Sorry. I really thought it was a standard naming convention.
When I insert a new view it is called "Layout #1", "Layout #2", etc.. (see picture under http://www.paraview.org/Wiki/File:Pa...ataFigure1.png). How can I change the name of the view? from "Layout #1" to "Pressure plot" for example. |

Hi archeo,
Sorry, I was too sleepy last night to open the ParaView 3.14 version I've got. I usually use ParaView 3.12.0, which doesn't have the "Layout" tabs. I've looked into this, also tried ParaView 3.98 and 4.0.1, and I can't find any way to rename these "Layout" tabs, not even through Python scripting I've got a feeling that the developers forgot to add this feature to ParaView! I suggest that you use the bug tracker to request this feature in the next versions of ParaView: http://paraview.org/Bug/my_view_page.php Best regards, Bruno
