Best way to get data from Python into ParaView

Hi,

I have coded a geometry generator in Python and am doing some calculations.
Now I'd like to visualize the results in ParaView. The data I want to exchange is the geometry itself as a structured quad mesh and as an unstructured tri-mesh. Further the surfaces have some values associated (scalars and vectors).
In ParaView I want to do some contour plots, deformation animations etc.

What is the best way to get my data out of Python into ParaView?

Thank you very much!

Malte

Greetings Malte and welcome to the forum!

Sorry for the late reply, but I was hoping someone else would answer while I've been busy for the past few weeks.

I know I briefly saw something on this topic... I can't seem to find what I think I saw. Nonetheless, here are the few things I could find:
Best regards,
Bruno

Hi Bruno,

thank you for your reply!
I suspected VTK Files are the way to go but wanted to be sure before I am running the completely wrong direction.
Thanks for the links!

Best regards,
Malte
