Publication-quality Mesh Figures from Paraview

Paraview has recently added support for vector-graphics formats such as EPS, PDF, SVG, and more:

http://paraview.org/Wiki/ParaView/Ve...raphics_Export

I'm excited about this functionality, but I can't get it to work. I load a slice of my mesh (OpenFOAM format) and turn on "Surface with edges". Then I do an "Export Scene" and select one of the new formats. All I get is a blank background.

Does anyone know how to use this new feature, and how it works? Am I revealing a limitation? Is there a work around?

Thanks!

Greetings Nuc,

Using the options attached, it worked well for me.

Excellent; this works fine. I didn't understand how those extra options worked.

FYI to others: culling the hidden edges significantly reduces the filesize of the output images.

Thanks!

Hi

I tried the option but it doesn't work for me. Btw I am using
paraview 4.1.0 in Ubuntu.

Cheers,
Meb

If you installed the Deb package for ParaView 4.1.0 that comes with OpenFOAM 2.4.0 or 2.3.1, that version is incomplete. You need to either build from source code or get the binary package for Linux from paraview.org
