How to install Paraview 4.0.1 on a linux x64 OS ?

i want to install Paraview 4.0.1 on a linux x64 OS, however, there was no instruction, could anyone offer some help?

There isn't much to know. You simply:

1. Download the tarball with the binary files for Linux x86_64 (aka 64-bit);
2. Unpack said tarball;
3. And then run paraview from within the bin folder.
