Viewing a state file using ParaView/Web

Hi,
I have installed paraview 4.0.1 and the JettySessionManager-Server-1.0 on Ubuntu. I want to visualise a paraview state file (.pvsm) within a webpage, similar to the LiveArticles app that comes with paraview. Simply pointing to the .pvsm file in the index.html of the LivveArticles app does no work and probably it is not possible at all that way.

Many thanks for any help.

Kyr

Greetings Kyr and welcome to the forum!

I've never used ParaViewWeb myself, so I have no idea. Nonetheless, using Google to search with there keywords:
Code:

paraviewweb state files
Lead me to this old mail thread on the official ParaView mailing list: http://www.paraview.org/pipermail/pa...ly/022212.html

Best regards,
Bruno

Hi Kyr,
where you able to run the state file in a static page?
I'm trying to load a visualizer in a web page - I am using WAMP on Windows and I am having problems understanding the procedure to make it work.
In addition, while the instructions are ok for Paraview-4.1.0, I am having problems with Paraview-4.3.1 as the folder strcture seems to be different and there should be some changes in the server scripts.
Anyone has some experience and can guide me with a simple tutorial? Thanks in advance!
