Hi,

I accidentally managed to write accented letters in legends or titles: I add an empty math formula at the end of the text (see figure 1). A useful bug???

If I remove the empty math formula, I get a 'not a utf-8 string' error (see figure 2).

If anybody knows a more elegant way to write accented letters please let me know. (I didn't find how to write text in math mode, $\text{\'e}$ or \mbox{\'e} didn't work.)
