I am doing a project about the flow pattern made by wind in city. Could anyone advise me which turbulence model is more suitable? There are few models found in Phoenics, KECHEN and KERNG are quite common to be used for turbulent, but I found that KEKL and KEMMK are recommended by Cham for wind engineering. So which one is better?? Thanks.

ke-ep is working fine for us
a few hints for wind simulation in phoenics: turn of the automatic convergence control and instead of wind objects you should use wind profiles at the boundaries. |
