Earth variable index for mass flow rate

Hello everybody,

Where can i get help on the definition of EARTH varibles defined in GRDLOC file? Is there any varible index that stores the mass flow rate in a cell??

Waiting for your help,

Re: Earth variable index for mass flow rate

The F-array indices LCEA, LCNA and LCHA may be used to access the mass flow rates through, respectively, the east, north and high faces of a scalar cell. The flow rates refer to the current iz slab, and so the indices are valid only when used within the iz loop of PHOENICS from GROUND. In two-phase problems (ONEPHS=F), these flow rates refer to the first phase, and the second phase flow rates are accessed by use of LCEA2, LCNA2 and LCHA2.

If you are asking for documentation which tells you what each index means in grdloc, then I belive it does not exist in this simple form. Some of the indices are documented individually throughout the Encyclopaedia, but usually this is only useful if you know what you are looking for.

However, some elements of grdloc are documented as part of the F-array description (look in sections (g) to (k) )given at:
