Latent heat introduced by the TEM1 equation?

As a beginner of PHOENICS 3.3 version, in PHOENICS FAQ, althrough PHOENICS has recommanded the latent heat treatment in the TEM1 equation and adopted (b) way ,I don't know how the latent heat is introduced into the temperature equation and ensure covergence? Could you give me some suggestion? Thank you very much!

Re: Latent heat introduced by the TEM1 equation?

If you employ an enthalpy source term to represent the evolution of latent heat, then the required treatment of the source term has been documented in some detail by Prakash et al [Int.J.Heat Mass Transfer, Vol.30, No.12, p2690, (1987)].
