Type ? at the "Command" line of Autoplot and you will see all the command you have to work with the code. Read the command "sendp" and its related commands.

If you want to configure the Autoplot you should modify the file autconf which is into the Autoplot directory. Before do anything be sure you have made a copy of the original configuration file.

Nevetheless, if you will use Winword you don't need to remove the black background. You can define as transparent any colour in the imported image file.

I am not sure what you mean about going black. But one thing I have noticed about Autoplot is that it is not happy if you maximise the window.

To print a plot, type the command "dump". It will prompt you for a file name. If you don't give a file extension it will create it as .gif. I usually create a PCX file instead, you do this by specifying filename.pcx. I prefer the colour map with pcx files. (I understand that the colour map for gif files will be improved from version 3.4).

Anyway, having created this file, it is then straightforward to print it.

If in the CHAM.INI file you set PCX_Background to white instead of black, you will automatically get a white background if you dump the file as a pcx.
