I am using PHOENICS 3.2. How can i generate grid for traingular channel? I had tried with general menu but without four lines i cann't define a frame and hence the grid lines. Is there any traingular shape available in VR-editor??
Please help me out. Thanks in advance. Sandip |

The way I have solved similar problems is to define the space a rectangle. Change the geometry of the shape, using the properties feaure on the object to create a wedge/triangle. Set up the tiangluar channel as the domain space inbetween the wedges.
From here refine mesh as required. I hope this helps. Leon |

Alternatively, if you want to use BFCs, you can make a frame which is effectively triangular by defining two of the corner points to be the same point. In other words the triangle is represented as a quadrangle, where one of the sides has zero length. This works fine!
