Is it possible to use Kato-launder Model?

I am studying on the flow around buildings. I want to use the Kato-Launder modified k-e model in Phoenics only by adding some codes in Ground.for. Is is possible? Thanks

The Kato-Launder model can be introduced via GROUND. It should appear as a built-in option in the next release of PHOENICS together with the MMK k-e turbulence model. The latter is similar to the Kato-Launder variant except that the dimensionless turbulence parameter now acts on the kinematic viscosity rather than the turbulent production rate.

Thank you for your kind help. The Phoenics I am using is version 3.3. Which version will include the LK model? I have made many codes in GROUND to deal with some special boundary. In LK model, the equation of Pk is different from standard k-epslon model. How to change Pk? Can you give me some advices or some sample codes? regards, Xiaofeng Li

The current PHOENICS release is V3.4, but the KL model will not appear until PHOENICS V3.5. I have the necessary files to patch into V3.3, but these are only available to maintained users. Tsinghua University may still be support by CHAM Shanghai. If so then CHAM UK can supply these files, but you would have to contact Mr Jinlong Fan of CHAM Shanghai (phoenics@public8.sta.net.cn) in the first place.
