How to run his phoenics in parallel mode?

for standard release of Phoenics 3.3 or 3.4(not a parallel version), i wonder if the user could run phoenics in parallel mode by his coding. If could, how to do? Thanks.

Bryan,

It will not be possible to run the sequential version in parallel mode. If you're running PHOENICS on PC equipment, CHAM has parallel versions for dual-processor systems and PC clusters for both Windows and LINUX OS's. UNIX versions are also available, though 3.4 has not yet been ported to all UNIX systems.

As a licensed / maintained user, you simply need to put in a request to CHAM and a trial copy will be sent to you.

I hope this helps you.

Dear Bryan

I think you can. Nevetheless, when you say "with his codding" I assume you know a lot of MPI (or any other communication library or language) and PHOENICS.

Eventhough, if it is your case, it will take you a long time and I recommend you: try PHOENICS parallel version. It could satisfy you and it will be a cheaper solution.

I know it works well on Linux clusters with MPI communication protocol.

Regards

Kike

Thank you very much, dear KiKe. But i think even with personal codding, a genernal phoenics version still could not be run on a dual-cpu pc, is it right?
