The difference between pipe & plate

HI SIR I am useing phoenics 1.4 . I want to know the difference in input file(Q1)for group (3,4,5) between pipe & plate .

I haven't seen version 1.4, but as I recall, a pipe is something round and hollow, whereas a plate is a boundary with some specific properties. PattiMichelle
