Re: Nusselt number
Please see the CHAM website at... http://www.cham.co.uk
Then pick the SEARCH facility, and look for Nusselt. There are a number of references to the Nusselt number which will be turned up by the search. You can use the very powerful PLANT , or In-Form systems in PHOENICS to set a variable of a chosen name, say NU for the NUSSELT number = to the required expression, as a function of other variables calculated and stored by PHOENICS. For a scalar, your variable,e.g.the Nusselt number, is then calculated and stored by Phoenics for all relevant cells, and then, using PHOENICS-VR and PHOENICS-VR, you can plot contours of Nusselt numbers and Isosurfaces. The above search on CHAM's web-site should tell you details, or you can look via the Encyclopaedia on the web-site. Paths for 3 references from the above, that may be of particular interest are... http://www.cham.co.uk/phoenics/d_pol...ow/iminga2.gif http://www.cham.co.uk/phoenics/d_polis/d_lecs/plant/ vartyp.htm http://www.cham.co.uk/phoenics/d_pol...nt/plan156.htm Regards, Pete (Dr. Peter Bailey). |
