Is it possible to generate structured grids for helical type of baffle in a pipe? Is BFC only solution? What kind of grid generation software package is suitable for this, which can have interface with PHOENICS?

Vikas,
My understanding is that it is possible to do this with a structured grid. Look uo PARSOL - I know it has been enhanced i V3.4 and under review for v3.5. This method works out how to handle objects that only occupy part of a cell. From the VR Editor - GEoGrid interfases with phoenics. Sorry I cant be more specfic, but with all things in CFD the devil is in the detail. Leon |
