i can't install the phonics3.3(download from net) on the win2K system,who can help me !!!

What is your problem ?

I have installed P v3.3 on win 2k-pro and it worked fine.

Have you updated the C:\phoenics\D_ALLPRO\config file to include your unlocking string provided by cham ?

sounds to me like the download was not complete. Try downloading the files again- check the download site for a NT version of P v3.3 maybe they are seperate downloads ?

Open the config file with notepad/wordpad/word. You choose the text editor. Modify the string, at the top of the page, it will be similar to the unlocking string provided by CHAM.

Type in the new string, over the old string - keep the formating the same, I belive it is case sensative.

TYPE over the existin ID= ... with your new ID = ...(new).

YES - the ID string is the unlocking string. This is need to 'turn on' phoenics. CHAM generates this based on the serial number of your hard drive.

My local distributer was kind enough to give me a 1 month trial of P v3.3 They gave me a string valid for 1 month, after that I had to purchase the real thing.

If you want a free version, look under the shareware section on cham's web site.
