can phoenics do coal+caco3 combustion?

Hi fluent users, now i am working for simulation of pulverized coal combustion and CaCO3 decompose ( CaCO3->CaO+CO2). I want to konw whether phoenics can do coal combustion and the CaCO3 model, if ok, how to carry it out?

thank you!

It's of no problem. You should use IPSA in PHOENICS

For related information, you might like to see this never-completed lecture by Brian Spalding with its link to the COFFUS module (http://www.cham.co.uk/phoenics/d_pol...l/coalcomb.htm).

You might note though, that COFFUS has been further extended since the MICA project under which it was developed, so this is not the latest documentation available.
