solid-liquid phase transformation

I have tried to setup a model which simulates solid-liquid phase transformation by using the property marker PRPS dynamically i.e. its value is set to less than 99 for temperatures above the melting temperature and higher than 99 below the melting temp. Since the heat flow in the system changes with time the PRPS field also changes. This point works quite well. But if I want to calculate velocity fields due to convection, PHOENICS restricts this calculation to those region where the PRPS values have been initialized to < 99 before the first time step. This restriction stays during all time steps although the PRPS-values follows the variation of the temperature.
